Cold light complimenting blinding sadness
Do they really love you this much?
Or is that just more of the façade

Cold blue lips and blazing fire,
blending as you are destroyed
Oh how they weep for you
a heart reached for but misunderstood

And now I know they never wanted what I wanted
never needed what was my life support machine ...
but they still could take you from me so,

They must be something I'm not
to be loved by you even though they hurt,
they broke, they stole, they took
every piece of you and me and burned it
with your heart.

Even the memories of you and me
they were taken away, and
all it took was a push down stairs
and then even the ashes burnt to dust
taunting me.

I try so hard to contain my deep rage
and refrain it from reflecting in my eyes.
The tears that fall from them
taste loving, yet bitter

and the flames roar and tempt me
to fall into the fire because
it's tiring playing with it anyway.
Telling me to just give in because
